Marketplace Feature: Beat Worthy - Mercury Capri

They say that if you are going to buy a car, buy the nicest one that you can afford. This goes against the fundamental pillars of Beaterblog but nonetheless, this Capri would be the right car for someone who must have one of these Australian imports.

Based on the Mazda 323, these cars were hailed as being one of the best handling FWD cars of all time. Unfortunately, this is not one of the turbo XR2 models and furthermore it's an automatic but it is so incredibly clean that it's possible to ignore these facts. There is not one tear in the seats, rust bubble, or fading in the paint.

Australian models were a bit lighter and looked a bit better due to different front and rear fascias but essentially they are the same vehicle underneath. If you are amassing a collection of Australian cars imported to the US, this one may be a good one to park next to the GTO, G8, and EK Holden.

Call (734) 678-0581 to talk to the owners. The car is located in Saline, Michigan.
