Beaterblog Dream Garage #1

Not everyone can afford to have a Jay Leno style man-cave filled with a plethora of coveted automobiles and equipment. Sometimes the budget calls for something more along the lines of yellow-jacket infested firewood packed tightly around a Nova sedan in a corrugated iron third world lean-to.

Strategically placed 2x4s, ladders, and cinder blocks ensure that this complicated and fairly massive structure continues to provide shelter for whatever may be inside. As indicated by the lonely bedliner that an old compact pickup has presumably vacated via the corrosive forces of mother nature, the garage owner has clearly learned a hard lesson regarding the necessities of proper storage.

Although apparently rickety, this structure has survived multiple hurricanes, tornadoes, and ice storms prevalent in NC, thanks to either excellent construction technique or superior interior packing skill.
