Before They Were Beaters: Moskvich 412 - Part 2

I think the expressions on the faces of these passengers cruising through the upper-middle class suburbs of St. Petersburg adequately express the sentiment associated with Moskvich ownership. Although it was the Buick of Soviet Russia, it was still the Buick of Soviet Russia.

One doesn't have to know French to know see that the car is equipped with the following features:

-Headlights
-Taillights
-Parking Lights
-Indicators
-American Death-Ray Shields
-Western Acid-Attack Wipers
-Rear-View Mirror
-Blast Chamber Entrance
-Windows
-Grab Handle
-Door Latch

One could only hope for features this well thought out in cars of capitalist origin.
