Beat on the Street: Evil Empire Custom Ladas

As long as cars have been mass produced, men have been trying to make their ride stand out from the crowd. But when all you've got is a Lada and the Russian equivalent of JC Whitney the results often underwhelm.

This burgundy Lada was tying up traffic while looking good with tiger airbrushed hood, ground effects and trunk mounted basket handle.

The airbrushed hood is popular and this blue example is protected by the dragon. Also popular is anything with SPARCO written on it and you can get a lot of plastic accessories with SPARCO logos.

Number 15 is a legitimate Lada rally car, loaded and prepped for the next event. No explanation for the trunk handles could be obtained.

This final Lada is doing its best to mix vintage Fiat looks with modern tuner style. Let's hope he ditches the wheel covers and finds some lowering springs.

...And hence the Faberge Lada was born.
